Michael O’Dyer, considered responsible for the Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar, was shot dead by Udham Singh with a revolver concealed in a book.
On 13 March 1940, Michael O’Dwyer was giving a speech at Caxton Hall in central London, when he was assassinated by Udham Singh by shooting at him twice at point-blank range. He had waited for this day for 21 years.
