The First Round Table Conference began in London.

It was the first of three Round Table Conferences organized by the British Government to discuss constitutional reforms in India.

Mahatma Gandhi did not attend this session because he was in prison for leading the Civil Disobedience Movement.

The Indian National Congress boycotted the conference, so it mainly included representatives of princely states, minorities, and the British government.

The First Round Table Conference began in London on November 12, 1930, and continued until January 19, 1931.

The event is finished.
