World’s first Coca‑Cola was introduced to the public at Jacob’s Pharmacy in Atlanta.
On May 8, 1886, Dr. John Pemberton served the first glass of Coca-Cola at Jacobs’ Pharmacy in Atlanta, Georgia. It was initially marketed as a “brain tonic” and “nerve stimulant” that could provide relief from exhaustion. A single glass was sold for five cents, and it was an immediate hit.
