Member of Rajya Sabha. Chancellor of BITS Pilani. one of the Chairman of Hindustan Times. President of Bridge Federation of India. Head of Indian Lawn Tennis Association. Juwari-Chambal-Paradeep Chairman. More than forty companies are under the KK Birla group umbrella. KK Birla entered and influenced various fields like sugar, fertilisers, heavy engineering, textiles, shipping and newspapers. A postal stamp was released in his honour.
