International Black Sea Action Day

International Black Sea Action Day is celebrated on October 31st every year to raise awareness about the Black Sea’s environmental issues and the need for regional cooperation to protect it. The day commemorates the signing of the Black Sea Strategic Action Plan on October 31, 1996 by the six Black Sea countries: Bulgaria, Georgia, Romania, Russia, Turkey, and Ukraine.
