Ravichandran Ashwin Surpasses Kapil Dev’s International Wicket Tally.

On 2 March 2023, Ravichandran Ashwin broke Kapil Dev’s record of 687 international wickets, making him India’s third-highest wicket-taker in international cricket.

This milestone was achieved on Day 2 of the third Test match against Australia at the Holkar Stadium in Indore, when he took his 688th international wicket by trapping Alex Carey lbw.
