Babasaheb Ambedkar was welcomed in Mumbai by the Samata Sainik Dal.
On 23 January 1933, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar returned to Bombay from the Third Round Table Conference aboard the ship Gange, accompanied by Sir Purshottamdas Thakurdas.
He was given an enthusiastic reception by the Samata Sainik Dal.
Dr. Ambedkar was the only leader to attend all three Round Table Conferences, consistently advocating for the rights of the depressed classes (now called Dalits).
In contrast, Gandhi and Malviya skipped the first and third conferences, while Jinnah did not attend the second.
