Brahm Prakash a Pakistani-born Indian metallurgist, space scientist, scientific administrator.

First Director of the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC).

Member of the Space Commission of India.

First Indian to head the Department of Metallurgy at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru.

At a critical formative stage of the Indian Space Programme, Prof. Satish Dhawan persuaded him to take charge as Director of VSSC.

He led and unified several early ISRO units at Thiruvananthapuram into the integrated and dynamic structure of VSSC, serving as its Director until November 1979.
