Daler Mehndi

Daler Mehndi (Daler Singh) – an Indian bhangra and pop singer, songwriter and record producer.

He belongs to the Dalit Mirasi community and comes from a Rababi family.

He is widely credited with popularizing Bhangra worldwide and helping establish Indian pop music as a major non-film genre independent of Bollywood.

He is known for his energetic dance songs, distinctive turban, and colorful traditional stage outfits.
