The First Round Table Conference began in London.
On 12 November 1930, The First Round Table Conference began in London, and continued until January 19, 1931.
It was the first of three Round Table Conferences organized by the British Government to deliberate on constitutional reforms in India.
The conference mainly focused on the federal structure, the role of princely states, minority rights, and other constitutional issues.
Mahatma Gandhi did not attend this session because he was in prison for leading the Civil Disobedience Movement.
The Indian National Congress boycotted the conference, so it mainly included representatives of princely states, minorities, and the British government.
