Global Menstrual Hygiene Day

Global Menstrual Hygiene Day also known as Menstrual Hygiene Day or MHD or MH Day observed annually on May 28th.

It is a worldwide initiative to raise awareness about menstrual health and hygiene, break taboos, and promote access to menstrual products, education, and sanitation facilities. Initiated in 2013 by the German NGO WASH United and first celebrated in 2014.
