The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation was divided into three corporations: GHMC, MMC, and CMC.

On 11 February 2026, the Telangana government divided Hyderabad’s municipal administration into three separate corporations.

 Three corporations are the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC), and Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation (MMC).

GHMC manages the central and older parts of the city.

MMC covers the northeastern suburbs.

CMC covers the western IT and business areas, including Cyberabad.
