Gurajada Apparao

Gurajada Venkata Apparao an Indian playwright, dramatist, poet, writer, teacher. He got the titles ‘Kavisekhara’, ‘Abyudaya Kavitha Pithamahudu’. One of the pioneers of Indian theatre. He wrote the play Kanyasulkam, which is considered as the greatest play in the Telugu language. He scripted the widely known Telugu patriotic song “Desamunu Preminchumanna”.
