Haryana’s War Heroes Martyrdom Day – India

Haryana’s War Heroes Martyrdom Day or Haryana Heroes’ Martyrdom Day or Shaheedi Diwas, is observed annually on September 23rd.

It is to honor Rao Tularam, a Yaduvanshi Ahir King of Rewari, and other freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives during the 1857 revolt against British rule.

The day commemorates Rao Tularam’s death anniversary and celebrates his significant role in the Indian independence movement.
