India won the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup for the third time.

The 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup was the tenth edition of the tournament, co-hosted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India and Sri Lanka Cricket from 7 February to 8 March 2026.

On 8 March 2026, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, the India national cricket team defeated the New Zealand national cricket team in the final to win the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

With this victory, India secured its third title in the tournament’s history, adding to its earlier triumphs in 2007 and 2024.

The win further strengthened India’s position as one of the most successful teams in the shortest format of international cricket.
