ISRO successfully launched India’s heaviest communication satellite, CMS-03 (GSAT-7R).

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) launched CMS-03 (GSAT-7R), on November 2, 2025, marking a major milestone in the nation’s space and defence capabilities.

The satellite, weighing around 4,410 kilograms, was launched aboard the LVM3-M5 rocket from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota.

Designed to provide multi-band secure communication for the Indian Navy and other strategic users.
