Indira Hinduja

Indira Hinduja an indian gynecologist, obstetrician, infertility specialist. Pioneered the Gamete intrafallopian transfer (GIFT) technique that resulted in the birth of India's first GIFT baby. on January 4, 1988. Hinduja is also credited with developing an oocyte donation technique for patients with premature ovarian failure and menopause, which resulted in the birth of India's first baby from this technique on January 24, 1991.
