International Children's Book Day

International Children’s Book Day is celebrated on April 2 annually.

It is an annual event organized by the International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY). It is observed to commemorate the birth anniversary of Hans Christian Andersen, a prominent Danish writer best known for his fairy tales.
