International Credit Union Day

International Credit Union Day (ICU Day) observed annually on the third Thursday in October.

The Credit Union National Association (CUNA) established ICU Day, that is celebrated since 1948.

World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU) coordinates and promotes ICU Day worldwide to raise awareness and encourage member involvement.

The day aims to highlight the important work credit unions and financial cooperatives do around the world and inspire members to take part actively.
