International Day of Engagement in Science for Sustainable Development
International Day of Engagement in Science for Sustainable Development is observed on 27 November every year.
Established through UNESCO resolutions in 2025.
Initiated by the Government of Ukraine and its National Academy of Sciences.
It is aimed at strengthening the connection between scientific research and real-world sustainable development goals.
It encourages countries, institutions, and communities to actively participate in scientific dialogue, share innovations, and promote evidence-based solutions to environmental, social, and economic challenges.
