International Day of Police Cooperation

International Day of Police Cooperation is observed annually on September 7th.

It is to recognize the vital role of law enforcement in global security by fostering international cooperation against transnational crime, such as cybercrime, terrorism, and organized crime.

The day was designated by the United Nations General Assembly in December 2022 and was first marked in 2023 to coincide with the centenary of INTERPOL (the International Criminal Police Organization).
