International Drag Day

International Drag Day is celebrated annually on July 16.

to honor and promote drag culture and its artists worldwide.

Founded in 2009 by Adam Stewart through his Facebook fan page for drag queens, the day aims to provide a platform for drag performers to showcase their creativity and contributions to LGBTQ+ culture.

It celebrates the art of drag, including drag queens, drag kings, and gender non-conforming performers, who use performance, costumes, and personas to explore and challenge gender norms and express identity.
