International Essential Oils Day

International Essential Oils Day is observed annually on 11 July.

The observance promotes awareness of essential oils, aromatherapy, natural wellness, and sustainable sourcing of plant-based extracts.

It was established in 2018 by Young Living.

The date was chosen to honor the birth anniversary of D. Gary Young (11 July 1949), a pioneer of the modern essential oils movement.

The day is marked through aromatherapy workshops, educational events, wellness activities, sustainable farming initiatives, and awareness campaigns highlighting the safe and responsible use of essential oils.
