International Plastic Bag Free Day

International Plastic Bag Free Day is observed annually on 3 July.

It was established in 2009 by Zero Waste Europe to encourage people to refuse single-use plastic bags and adopt reusable alternatives.

The day raises awareness about the environmental impact of plastic bags and promotes sustainable alternatives to reduce plastic pollution.
