International Shiraz Day

International Shiraz Day is celebrated annually on the fourth Thursday in July.

It is to honor one of the world’s most popular red wine grapes, particularly highlighting Australian styles.

The day encourages enjoying Shiraz with food pairings like roasted meat or curry and participating in, or following, winery events and social media trends using #ShirazWineDay.

However, a distinct, separate celebration for this grape, known as International Shirah Day is celebrated annually on february 16th.
