Iran Air Force Day

Iran Air Force Day is an official observance in the Islamic Republic of Iran, celebrated on February 8 (19 Bahman in the Solar Hijri calendar). On this day in 1979, the officers of the Iranian Air Force pledged allegiance to Ayatollah Khomeini and the Iranian Revolution.
