ISRO successfully launched 104 satellites in a single mission.

On 15 February 2017, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) successfully launched 104 satellites in a single mission.

The launch was carried out using the PSLV-C37 rocket from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre at Sriharikota.

The main payload was the Indian Earth-observation satellite Cartosat-2D.

The remaining 103 satellites belonged to international customers from several countries.

This mission set a world record for launching the highest number of satellites in a single rocket at that time.
