Lakshmi Jayanti

Lakshmi Jayanti is a Hindu festival celebrating the birth of Goddess Lakshmi, the deity of wealth and prosperity.

It is observed on the full moon day (Purnima) of the Hindu month of Phalguna.

It commemorates the day Goddess Lakshmi emerged from the cosmic ocean during the Samudra Manthan (churning of the ocean) and chose Lord Vishnu as her consort.

It’s believed that worshipping Lakshmi and Vishnu on this day can dissolve financial hardships and attract wealth.
