Mahaparinirvan Diwas

Mahaparinirvan Diwas is observed annually on December 6.

It is to commemorate the death anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Indian Constitution.

It marks his passing in 1956 and honors his lifelong dedication to social justice, equality, and eradicating caste discrimination.
