Marathi Language Pride Day – India

Marathi Language Pride Day (Marathi Language Gaurav Din) is celebrated in the state of Maharashtra, India on February 27 every year. It commemorates the birth anniversary of Kusumagraj (pen name of Vishnu Vaman Shirwadkar), an eminent Marathi author.
