Founder of ‘Manzil-e-Meem’ (House of the Master), the ashram in Mumbai for the spiritual training of his close disciples.

Founder of ‘Meherabad’, his principal spiritual center near Ahmednagar.

Founder of several charitable initiatives, he established free schools, hospitals, and dispensaries that were open to people of all castes and religions.

He declared himself to be the Avatar.
