Mikhail Kalashnikov

Mikhail Kalashnikov (Mikhail Timofeyevich Kalashnikov) a Soviet Russian lieutenant general, inventor, military engineer, author, small arms designer.

Inventor of the ‘Avtomat Kalashnikova 1947’ (AK-47) assault rifle, one of the most famous and widely used weapons in the world.

He also designed other weapons like AKM, AK-74, RPK, and PK machine guns.

Recipient of the ‘Hero of the Russian Federation’, ‘Order of Lenin’, ‘Order of the Red Banner of Labour’, ‘Order of the October Revolution’, and ‘Order of St. Andrew the Apostle the First-Called’.
