M. M. Keeravani and Chandrabose won the Best Original Song award for “Naatu Naatu” from the Indian Telugu-language film RRR.

It became the first Indian film song to win an Academy Award, beating nominees including Lift Me Up from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
