Nagaland Statehood Day – India

Nagaland Statehood Day or Nagaland Foundation Day is celebrated on December 1st every year in Indian state Nagaland.

It is to commemorate the day it became India’s 16th state in 1963.

This day marks the formal inauguration of the state government and the official recognition of Nagaland after being separated from Assam.
