National DRESS Syndrome Day is observed annually on 16 July in the United States and worldwide.

The day raises awareness of DRESS Syndrome (Drug Reaction with Eosinophilia and Systemic Symptoms), a rare but potentially life-threatening adverse drug reaction that can affect multiple organs.

Founded by the DRESS Syndrome Foundation in 2021 in the United States, it has grown into a global initiative involving patients, families, healthcare professionals, researchers, hospitals, and advocacy organizations.

The observance supports affected families, honors those lost to the disease, promotes earlier diagnosis and better treatment, and encourages research through awareness campaigns, educational webinars, patient stories, advocacy, fundraising, and community outreach.
