National Education Day

National Education Day is observed annually in India on November 11.

It is to commemorate the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the first Education Minister of independent India (1947–1958).

Established in 2008, this day honors his contributions to building India’s education foundation, including setting up bodies like the AICTE and UGC.
