National Milk Day is observed in india annually on November 26th.

It is to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Verghese Kurien, the “Father of the White Revolution” in India.

This day highlights the importance of milk for health and nutrition and celebrates the significant contributions of the dairy industry to the nation’s economy and rural empowerment.

It was first celebrated in India in 2014.
