Nirbhaya
Nirbhaya (Jyoti Singh) an Indian physiotherapy intern, victim.
She was gang-raped and brutally beaten on a moving bus. The case caused massive protests across India. Because of her case, the Indian government passed the Criminal Law (Amendment) Act, 2013, commonly called the Nirbaya Act. Her parents founded the ‘Nirbaya Jyoti Trust’.
