Prakash Ambedkar (Prakash Yashwant Ambedkar) an Indian politician, social worker, writer, lawyer.

Grandson of Babasaheb Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Indian Constitution.

Founder of the ‘Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi’ (VBA), an Indian political party.

Founder of the ‘Bharipa Bahujan Mahasangh’ (BBM), an Indian political party (merged to VBA).

Prakash Ambedkar developed the “Akola Pattern,” supported the Bhima-Koregaon movement, opposed the CAA-NRC, backed farmers’ protests, and campaigned for nomadic tribes and Dalit rights.

He and his son Sujat relaunched the Prabuddh Bharat (Enlightened India) newspaper, which was originally founded by his grandfather, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.

He is a three-time Member of Parliament.
