Rajendra Lahiri

Rajendra Lahiri (Rajendra Nath Lahiri) a Bangla Indian independence activist, revolutionary.

Prominent Member of the ‘Hindustan Republican Association’ (HRA), a group committed to ending British rule through armed resistance. Mastermind behind the Kakori conspiracy and Dakshineshwar bombing.

He was hanged on 17 December 1927 in Gonda District Jail, two days before the scheduled execution of the other Kakori revolutionaries — Ram Prasad Bismil, Ashfaqulla Khan, and Thakur Roshan Singh, who were hanged on 19 December 1927 in different jails.
