Gadde Rajendra Prasad – an Indian film actor, producer, and dubbing artist.

Nandi Award recipient.

He got the title 'Natakireeti'.

He served as the President of the Movie Artist Association (MAA).

He primarily worked in Telugu cinema and is widely regarded as one of the finest comic actors in Telugu cinema.

He rose to prominence during the 1980s with a series of successful comedy films and later established himself as a versatile performer capable of excelling in both comedic and dramatic roles.

He won the Nandi Award for Best Actor for his performances in Erra Mandaram (1991) and Aa Naluguru (2004).

Popularly known as the "King of Comedy" of Telugu cinema, he has appeared in over 200 Telugu films and remains one of the industry's most respected actors.

He made his acting debut with Sneham (1977) and gained recognition with Manchu Pallaki (1982), before achieving widespread success with comedy classics such as Ladies Tailor, Aha Naa-Pellanta!, Appula Appa Rao, and Mayalodu.

He received the Padma Shri, India's fourth-highest civilian award, in 2026 for his contribution to Indian cinema.

He also received an honorary doctorate from Andhra University.
