Rare Disease Day

Rare Disease Day is observed every year on the last day of February (February 28, or February 29 in leap years).

Launched in 2008 by EURORDIS (European Organisation for Rare Diseases) and patient advocacy groups.

It’s a global awareness campaign dedicated to raising support for the over 300 million people worldwide living with rare diseases.
