Sachin Tendulkar became the first cricketer in history to score 100 international centuries.

On 16 March 2012, Sachin Tendulkar scored his 100th international century during the 2012 Asia Cup match against Bangladesh at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.

He scored 114 runs off 147 balls, with 12 fours and 1 six.

This was his 49th ODI century, adding to his 51 Test centuries, making him the first cricketer in history to reach 100 international centuries.

India scored 289/5, but Bangladesh chased the target and won the match in the final over.
