One of the world’s greatest mathematicians.First Indian to be elected a Fellow of Trinity College, Cambridge.Second Indian to be elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of England. Wrote 3 books with 3900 mathematical theorems. Scientists are still working on them. His birthday is celebrated as National Mathematics Day. Ramanujan prime number is named after him.
