SUDEP Action Day

SUDEP Action Day is observed every year on the third Wednesday of October.

It is to highlight the risks of Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP) and promote greater public awareness.

Launched in 2014 as SUDEP Awareness Day.

The event seeks to foster open dialogue among patients, families, and medical professionals about epilepsy-related risks and prevention strategies.

Organized by SUDEP Action, a UK-based charity, the day supports those impacted by epilepsy and drives research to prevent SUDEP deaths.
