UNICEF Foundation Day or The United Nations Children’s Fund Foundation Day or birthday of UNICEF celebrates its founding anniversary on December 11 every year.

It is to mark the establishment of UNICEF in 1946.

It is not an official UN holiday.

The day is mainly observed to raise awareness about children’s rights and UNICEF’s work worldwide.
