Veer Savarkar

Veer Savarkar (Vinayak Damodar Savarkar) an Indian independence activist, nationalist, lawyer, social reformer, author. Co-founder of Abhinav Bharat Society (Young India Society). President of the Hindu Mahasabha. He fought for a casteless society. He wrote the book “The History of the War of Indian Independence”. His portrait was unveiled in the Indian Parliament in 2003.
