World Adoption Day

World Adoption Day is observed on November 9th each year.

It is to raise awareness for children in need of a family and to celebrate the adoption community.

Founded by Hank Fortener in 2014, it is also the day of the AdoptTogether adoption crowdfunding platform, with a mission to create “a world with no more orphans, a family for every child”.
