World Food Safety Day

World Food Safety Day is observed annually on June 7th.

It is to raise awareness about the importance of food safety and to promote actions to prevent, detect, and manage foodborne risks. Established by the United Nations General Assembly in 2018.

The day emphasizes food safety’s role in ensuring human health, food security, economic prosperity, agriculture, and sustainable development.
