World Hindi Day

World Hindi Day or Vishwa Hindi Diwas is commemmorated annually on January 10. World Hindi Day is observed on January 10 to commemorate the first World Hindi Conference held in January 1975 at Nagpur, Maharashtra. The first World Hindi Day was celebrated in 2006. It is celebrated with the objective of raising awareness about Hindi as an International Language and to promote its use across the world.
